That does SO not look like Shania. It looks like Julia Roberts!! Don't you guys think! Okay, that baby is a few months old. Okay, so think of what she was doing about 8 months ago. Sorry, that's Cindy Crawford! I've seen the same picture larger and another one from a front angle as well.
I don't think Shania would have a baby right before a brand new album considering she'll have to travel and tour again.

Hmmmm Sam, I think you might have a point. It does appear that Shania is carrying a bit more weight around the middle. Or it could just be the top she's wearing. The contrast between the silver and the black might be what makes her look a little bigger. Or she might have put on a little off-time weight. Who knows? We can all only speculate.

I think we just have to wait isn't it? It's just speculating. There are a lot of messages here which goes about Shania who maybe is pregnant. But you can't say that at all! I think Shania is not the type of person who wants to have a child. She is to busy with other things, and enjoys life so much. I think you lose so much if you would have a baby. I think Shania don't wants to lose anything.
Just my opinion.

loonecho...do u not ever read ANY of her interviews w/ magazines??? She's always talking about how much she wants to have a baby!!! How can you say she doesn't? Lol.. I thought that most of us have heard about that. She ALSO said she wanted to wait at the most 3 years...wich was last year so you NEVER know when she'll pop out saying she's pregnant.

I don't know. There are people who say they want kids and later on decide not too. I read once how Mutt didnt want any kids but maybe he's changed since then. Being a private person and then having kids would not give him the privacy he likes. Anyway, I read the ref about Shania loosing her famous tummy and it would be true unless she watched what she ate. But I keep picturing that pic of her and Madonna at the grammys and how small and tiny her waist was compared to Madonna! Anyone recall seeing that pic?

I don’t believe that the fact that Mutt is a private person should lead to the conclusion that he doesn’t want to have kids because they will strip him of that privacy. As far as I’m concerned I think I understand Mutt’s decision to stay out of the public eye. I can say I’m a private person too. If someone would come and tell me that I would have 15 minutes on TV, I wouldn’t want that. Seems hard to understand, but that’s true. Besides that, Mutt has worked with a lot of people and knows how damaging fame and exposure can be. For example one of Def Leppard’s members died because he couldn’t cope with that star status and fame. Mutt gave interviews before 1990. So I think that his position is perfectly understandable.

More than that I would say that the fact that Mutt is a private person is not as bad for Shania as some might think. Shania’s life doesn’t resume at public appearances. What is important is her private life and I think that Mutt is a very strong anchor in that direction. He is helping Shania a lot by being like this. It is said that the bad part of being famous is the public attention and the eyes of the world looking at you every moment of your life. If you become famous you have to cope with both the good and the bad side of fame. It is in my opinion extremely important that the closest people in your life don’t have to share the same burden as you do, so they can support you when the burden becomes too heavy and you need a grip into the normal life.

Dear Shania TL. I DID read the interviews. I know she likes kids. She has said that many times. But I don't think she wants a baby now. She said that to. She said that she wants to have more time, because she can't raise a kid at this point.
What I said was that she didn't have time now. She wants to do so much, so she can't have a child at this time.
I remember she said in one interview that she didn't want a child at this time, altough if it happens by accident, she doesn't care.
About that picture, I've printed it, looked at it very carefully, and had the conclusion she isn't pregnant. She holds her hands a little bit round, that's all.
