Nsync Are The Jedis!

OMG! I swear I'm not gonna go see it now! Lucasfilms annouced that NSYNC are gonna do a cameo in EP2:Attack Of The Clones as Jedi Knights in a fight scene! What the heck are they gonna do? Do a crotch crab and start singing bye bye bye to get rid of the bad guys?? AGHH!

The Answer is GET KILLED!!!! I know a bit about whats going to happen in Attack of the Clones and a LOT of Jedi Die at one peont! So they are most likey going to get killed :D

I think it's just a huge publicity stunt! They're going to use the panzees to draw in the younger audience to insure a box office smash. It's pethetic that they'd stoop sooo low. And the fact that those little teeny boppers will pay $7 to go see 30 seconds of them on the big screen. Didn't that movie they did bomb? I'm not sure it was successful? Anyway, I'm no fan of these movies. But I do know that it's a dumb *** idea to begin with & I hope the movie bombs. If I was a fan, I'd wait 'til the film came out on telivision. JMO

They asked for the roles! They are apparently big fans of the movies and asked if they could be in the movies! I don't see the big deal persoanlly as they ar'nt playing lead roles and are only seen very very breifly in a Battle sence!

Anyway its got Christopher Lee in as the new Sith Lord so it can't be bad :D

*NSYNC Might Appear In 'Star Wars: Episode II'

(1/3/02, 12 p.m. ET) -- Star Wars fans have been reeling at rumors that the members of *NSYNC will make an appearance in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones, so LAUNCH sought to separate fact from fiction. A call to Lucasfilm spokesperson Lynne Hale confirmed the following: Yes, the members of the aging boy band were shot in the background of a scene in Episode II, but no, it wasn't at the behest of George Lucas's daughter, allegedly a big *NSYNC (news - web sites) fan. Hale laughed at the latter detail, a story that has been widely reported as fact.

Truth is, Lucas himself had little or nothing to do with the already controversial cameo, explained Hale. She says it was producer Rick McCallum who invited the *NSYNC gang to the set after they explained what big Star Wars fans they are. Their contribution to the Star Wars universe--and the resulting uproar over it--might all be for naught, however, since Hale explained that the *NSYNC scene might be edited out the final version of the film. If Star Wars fan reaction is any indication, Lucas better get cutting.

It had been reported that *NSYNC members would play Jedi Knights in a scene in which they'd be destroyed by battle droids. Reportedly, the scene was to be so quick that it would require a frame-by-frame viewing of the movie to discern Joey, Lance, Justin, J.C., and Chris.

A small update from theforce.net

Many are thinking that all of the N'Syncers are in the movie. Not true. In fact, Justin is not in it. Surprised? There are only three of the five in the movie. I heard it is only Lance, Joey, and Chris. Don't as me why I know these names off the top of my head. It is embarrasing.

That aside, I thought you would want to know that they are Jedi in one scene and there was a brief second scene shot where they are in Naboo citizen garb. You can definitely see them, I am told.

Of course, they are keeping quiet as to WHO in the band is in, perhaps because they want the little kiddies to think Justin is in it.

LOL, I told my boyfriend this the other night cause I had heard something about it on the radio, and he refused to believe me, lol. He likes these Star Wars movies.LOL, he would defintley be one of the ones who would enjoy seeing them if they get blown up, lol. :p
