I wanted Spurrier to come coach the Panthers and bring some new life to my team but as of right now, it looks like he's going to the Redskins. :(

Steelers beating "The Greatest Show on Turf," the Rams? That's a bold prediction.

I don't think anyone can stop the Rams this year.

Well since I don't care for either team, and I like going against odd's, I'll pick The Steelers for Superbowl XXXVI

You may be right but since my Jets are now defunct due to poor play calling and clock managing I'd like to see coach Cowher get his ring and trophy. He's a good guy. He seems to make a lot happen with "low key" guys.

Well you were 2-2 this weekend Jersey and of course I forgot to make my picks.. lol.

Next week we have the Eagles vs. Rams and Patriots vs. Steelers.

I'm going with the Rams and Steelers and then Rams to win it all.

Yeah, who would have thought that they'd be so good this year at the beginning of the year. Not me. I'm just happy that the Ravens got beat so that Ray Lewis and the rest of the Ravens can finally shut up.

Amen

Its no doubt that the Ravens were a fluke last year.
(how big is the smile on Trent Dilfers Face now?) :)

I was 2-2 and should have been 3-1 (Raider fans were robbed )

Yeah I know the details of the "Quarterback pump" rule and it sucks.

It was a fumble.....period.
Give a alot of credit to Brady he played a heck of a season so far.

Bledsoe may end up in Houston.

I didn't give enough credit to the Eagles but Donovan's gonna
need more luck than he had against the Bears to beat the Rams

I still will take Steelers all the way...I'm sorry I've had enough of the Rams. Don't use the D-word yet (Dynasty)

Matt

Trent Dilfer is feeling just fine right about now. :funny:

Even though I was pulling for New England, there was no doubt that Woodson stripped the ball from Brady for a fumble. I was amazed they overturned the call. I thought you needed clear, without a doubt visual proof to overturn a call and if anything, the replay on that one made the case even stronger for a fumble. Odd. I wouldn't mind seeing Bledsoe here in Carolina but after this long season I had to suffer through, I wouldn't mind seeing a whole new team... :funny:

I still think it's the Rams, hands down. With Bill Cower telling all his players to get all their Super Bowl plans (tickts, etc.) lined up with their families before this Wednesday, I think they're adding some fuel to New England's fire. Good things don't happen when you look past an opponent. ;)

I believe Cowhers words were taken out of context by some reporter. (Maybe in New England ):smirk:

He told his players...Go and make your families arrangements for the trip to New Orleans since there is no bye week between Championship games and Superbowl this year and get yourselves back here to get ready for New England.

(in other words kiss your families good buy now cause there isn't a week off this year)

I think it had purely to do with the logistics of a possible trip.
It is completely out of character for him to get this far and overlook an opponent.

Matt
01-27-2002, 6:51pm
Well I guess the Steelers can cancel their reservations in New Orleans for next weekend.

Matt
01-27-2002, 8:56pm
I guess we were both 1-1 this weekend Jersey. Who are you picking to win it all now that the Steelers are out of the picture.

Super Bowl Prediction

It won't be close - Rams - 34 Patriots - 14.

Matt
01-28-2002, 4:17am
I don't think it will be close either. I say Rams 41, Steelers 17.

I guarantee the Steelers won't get any points (particularily since they're not playing):p

AHHHHHH I really don't like either Team.

The Eagles had a shot .....it wasn't a blow out so don't be surprised if the Pats don't get crushed.

IF the Pats Crush the Rams Then I'd be surprised. :)

Although I won't be wagering anything I'll take the Patriots
and the points ;)
