Who are your picks for the Aussie Open????

Well I choose Hingis for the girls, she had a great week last week winning the adidas international and I think she can do it again for this grand slam :D She is in GREAT form :p Oh btw, she easily passed the first round today.....SHE RULES!!!

For the mens I choose Lleyton Hewitt, even though I don't like him much he is one hell of a tennis player and i think he's got the power to win :)

Hmmmm....i wish I could use real money for these bets ;)

in men uuum well Lleyton is the favorite for sure but i know what means the pression being the favorite in ur own country ;) remember patrick rafter or philipoussis when were the favorites and never could win the torney ;) but he is a great player and better fighter :) but sure he will have too dificult with others as agassi,sampras,the new american start andy rodick,roger federer(swiss) or others(spanish lol) :)

but for sure today start 2 great weeks of the best tennis and im too happy for this :D :love: :love:

I never really got into the nascars, the good part about the USA is the large crowds you get, you have got population more than 10 times Australia, it sets the atmosphere, Nascars not really popular at all here. Sprintcars are all the go.

Hingis absolutely flogged Amanda Coetzer today ~ 6-1, 6-0!!
She's on fire I tell ya :D

Oh and what a match Safin and Sampras will have. I am sooo looking forward to watching it!! Any bets on who will win? I think sampras is in great form at the moment so he might....but then i don't know how Safin is playing since they haven't bloody showed him! :( I gotta go for Safin though, if he's beat him before, he can do it again :D

I just turned it on in the beginning of the second set so I missed Capriati having her fit.. lol. I did see Hingis slam her raquet and then throw it across the court at the end of the set.

Well it depends on the umpire. Sometimes they get a warning and a fine, sometimes they just get a certain number of warnings then a fine etc.
