Okay I had the idea for this topic last night, what are your favourite sences from a movie? Ie What bits made you laugh, cry, excited the most or just simply blew you away?
My List is:
The "I have Seen Things" sence from Blade Runner
Why?: It is the most beautifully acted sence in any movie I have ever seen. it has amazing impact on the Viewer.
The Pre titles squeance from The Living Daylights
Why?: Timothy Dalton as Bond, Russian Assassin, Rock of Gibralutar. What more could this Movie fan ask for? :D
The Game Show from Mallrats
Why?: Jason Lee on top form :funny:
The Knights Of Ni and Black Knight sences from Monty Python and The Holy Grail
Why? They are too funny :funny:
The Balrog sence from The Fellowship of the Ring
Why?: Best Specail Effects ever.
The Battle Of Hoth and No! I'am Your Farther! sences from The Empire Strikes Back
Why? The Bad guys win
The Space Truck Stop Sence from Spaceballs
Why?: Its the best spoof of the Alien chestbuster from Alien and just to haer John Hurt say "Not Again" :p

Funny - In The American President, Annette Benning IS talking to the President, but she thinks somebody is pulling a prank on her.
So she says, "Oh, by the way. . I forgot to tell you what a nice @ss you have."
She feels like such an idiot when she figures out it really was the President of the U.S.
Sad - In Untamed Heart when Christian Slater dies after the hockey game.
I'm sure their are alot more. . . but I have some homework to do ya'll! ;)

One of the best movie scenes that I ever saw was that scene in The Wizard of Oz where Dorothy is locked in a room with the giant hourglass and the face of the Wicked Witch appears in the hourglass. I've seen it about 50 times and it still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.:funny:
I used to have nightmares about the Wicked Witch. I can't remember the name of the actress who played her, but she should have won an Academy Award.

I loved the scene in "Face/Off" in the beginning when Nicolas Cage gets out of the car and the wind sweeps up the back of his trench coat as he walks. The wind sweeping up his coat fit so well with his character's arrogant manner and walk. I loved that scene.

My favorite scene in a movie is when Nicole Kidman's character in "The Others" realizes that she is dead. And you see her saying "I'm not dead....." and you can see the people gathered around the table for the seance and they can see the papers all flying around, that she is tearing. I really liked this movie, can't wait for the DVD!!!!!:)

"Teacher says everytime a bell rings an angel gets his wings."
"There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home."
The scene from Home for The Holidays where Holly Hunter looks out the window of her partents' car and sees another kindred spirit.
