Oh, that is right, the Olympics are coming up soon. I've heard absolutely nothing about them in the local media. There doesn't seem to be much interest around here.

Anyway, I guess I'd pick hockey or skiing. Too bad they don't have ice basketball. :p

Ice basketball! HAHAHAH! That's funny. That'd be a little hard to play..... Hey, you're lucky Matt the Olympics are in your country. USA just had them in 1996 too! :rolleyes: I hope Vancouver gets the 2010 bid. By then I'll be 23 and I could go there and see the women's hockey! woohoo!

If they can have Ice Dancing (http://www.olympics.com/ats/fs/fs_events_icedance.html) as one of the competitions, they could play ice basketball. ;) The Winter Olympics will probably be held in Canada before the US again.

*gasp* Hockey's not winning! LOL! Oh well. I'd have to say my second fave is Speed Skating. Go Catriona LeMay Doan, and Jeremy Wetherspoon, and Mike Ireland, and everyone! Woohoo! :) La dee da okay I have nothing more to say. LOL

LOLOL! I know! You'd have to be CRAZY to go down a hill made of ICE on basically a skateboard! :shocked: Man. The things people will do to get into the Olympics. LOL Anyway, I hope no one dies or breaks their neck in this sport. It's only been held in the 1924 and 1948 Olympics. Maybe that's why. :shocked:

I see the US is dominating the snowboarding. The US won gold, silver and bronze in the Mens Halfpipe and won gold in the Womens Halfpipe. Go USA!
