Subject: New Date Rape Drug

Not to freak anyone out, this is just information, which needs to be passed on to anyone you know.

A woman at Gas nightclub (Galway) on Saturday night was taken by 5 men, who according to hospital and police reports, gang raped her before dumping her naked at Neutral Bay. Unable to remember the events of the evening, tests later confirmed the repeat rapes along with traces of rohypnol in her blood.

Boyfriends, take heed. Good guys out there, please forward this
message to your lady friends.

Progesterex, that is a essentially a small sterilisation pill. The
drug is now being used by rapists at parties to rape AND sterilise their victims.Progesterex is available to vets to sterilise large animals.

Rumour has it that the Progesterex is being used together with
Rohypnol, the date rape drug. As with Rohypnol, all they have to do is drop it into the girl's drink. The girl can't remember a thing the next morning, of all that had taken place the night before.

Progesterex, which dissolves in drinks just as easily, is such that
the victim doesn't conceive from the rape and the rapist needn't worry about having a paternity test identifying him months later. The drug's effects AREN'T TEMPORARY. Progesterex was designed to sterilise horses. Any female that takes it WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CONCEIVE. The crooks can get this drug from anyone who is in the vet school of any university.

It's that easy, and Progesterex is about to break out big on campuses everywhere. Believe it or not, there is even a site on the internet telling people how to use it.

Please forward this to everyone you know, especially girls.

HOPE THIS MAKES YOU THINK!!!!!

I've learned ALOT about this drug since I study law enforcement.

This drug is tasteless, orderless, and you can't see it in your glass.

My tip: If your at a night club or party, DON'T put down your drink. If you do put it down even for a minute, somebody could come along and slip in into your drink.

I used to put down my drink when I'd go dance, but I sure don't anymore!
Plus, be careful who you accept a drink from. It doesn't have to necessarily be an alcoholic drink, it could be in any kind of drink.

Well yeah. . . that's eays to say, but most "youths" go to these kind of places. Therefore, it's better to inform them. ;)

That's like telling a teenager not to have sex. Well, there's a very good chance they are going to have sex, so you might as well teach them about the birds & the bees! :)

Better to be informed than hurt by ingnorance! :smirk:

Better to be informed than hurt by ingnorance! :smirk: It is neither easy to say or do but it is the smart thing - there are hundreds of other things to do in your teenage years and beyond that are just as enjoyable and don't require exposing yourself to date rape at bars and nightclubs and wild parties - it is just plain stupid to expose yourself to these perils when there is no need.

I agree, but the majority of teenagers don't.

I've never been a big drinker, but a very large portion of teenagers are.
Therefore, they should be informed of the dangers. :(

Doesn't that crap just make you sick? Doesn't anybody have morals or standards anymore?

I'm a teen but I agree. I stay out of that junk, as well as most of my friends, and we just shake our heads at those who don't. We had a pregnancy in our class in 8th grade, for heaven's sake. Pretty sad.

You might think that perhaps one solution to having such dangerous potions is to lace them with something that makes it obvious to people that there is a danger. For example, some gasses are odorless and colorless and they do explode when a flame (a match for instance) or spark comes in contact with them. In some countries, industires and governments require these gasses to be laced with an odor so people can sense them and be alerted to the danger.

In the case of these date rape drugs, however, they are not necessarily produced by manufacturers which are regulated by any government, and they are certainly not subject to any moral code. The sterilization potion, at least that acquired from legitimate sources, could be laced I suspect without deterring its legitimate use.

We will always have to continue the other solution which is to continue to punish those that cross the line. And as a society we draw the lines.

But when it comes right down to it, each of us us responsilbe for ourselves. And sometimes, no matter how you live, you get the short end of the stick.

And each of us should continue to fight for what is right, and stand up against what is not right. And we should drop the worst of our experiences and keep the best for those that come after us. Such things are seldom easy and never finished.

Some people spend a lot of their lives to standing up for what is right, and some of therse people die doing it. All of us benefit from their actions.

Now go hug someone you love.

End of Lecture.

You know this is really sad. It's too bad that this happens. It's really scary the things people do. Right now, at the university I attend, there is a stalker that has been attacking people at night and it has really put a lot of stress on the students. Whoever it is, they are attacking both girls and guys. They are doing a lot to protect everyone though: they have installed new lights and cameras and security is everywhere. It's really too bad that our world is coming to this.
