In redponse to your question RJ it is very easy to contact the band members through e-mail. You can even visit their websites and buy their cd's. That is how we found out if these band members will stay on tour. We just asked them in an e-mail (they are great at responding to your e-mails!)

When I get picked apart at my work (which requires knowledge of medicine, law and gov't administration) every day for not crossing my t's and dotting my i's six ways to China and back, it's a bit of an adjustment to communicate elsewhere, where close is good enough in some ways at some times.

The result? When someone says they know and talk with Shania's band members, I take them literally, thinking they talk in person. I was already somewhat aware that Shania's band members receive messages on their websites.

When I was able to find my way through the steps via Shania.org, to their websites, I saw a lot of emails to the band member, but not see a response. Or actually, maybe it was forum messages I was seeing, rather than actual emails.

I'm happy to hear that they respond much more actively to actual email. I had assumed maybe they were flooded with so much of that also, that they would not respond.

While I know things in great specificity in other subjects, I still don't know some of the basics about fandom.

So I appreciate those of you who are providing a friendly steer in the right direction.
