Just wondering. Did anyone here know about Mutt before they knew who Shania was?
Also , Does anyone else here have just a little obsession w/mutt too. Just a little tiny one. Like if you here he wrote another song for someone else( Even if it is not co-writen by Shania) you have a kind of need to check out the song or songs.Or if you study all you can about him. I'm just asking this because If I go into a record store and just happen to
spot... lets say an AC/DC record that he produced, I feel a kind of need to listen to the song(s).
OR AM I JUST WIERD LOL
I dunno. Help me out please.

This may be weird to you but I actually knew about Mutt way back in the 80's from his work with Def Leppard and AC/DC. I know he co-wrote alot of their songs and I'm really into them....but I had no idea he married Shania!....I was like whoa!

Well, I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with Mutt. But I do like his voice a lot. If I could sing,(I really can't sing AT ALL-LOL) I would want his voice. I just think it's real cool and it sounds like a real rock-n-roll voice, if you know what I mean. And I do listen to his other work and think it's cool.

A LITTLE obsession?!! *lol*

I didn't know about him before Shania and when I knew then I wasn't very interested in him...That has totally changed!!! And it sure is because of the meeting. He is so kind and sweet and funny and...I don't know...he got me!?! I'm also interested in his work, but I wouldn't go and listen to EVERY song he co-wrote or whatever. Only the artist I like such as Céline Dion or Bryan Adams, but not Def Leppard or AC/DC...

I have no real intest in him, just his wife http://www.shania.net/shaniaforum/wink.gif But I like some stuff that hes done. My only real criticistm of him is that words in his songs tend to be too repleative, otherwise he is a good song writer. But Shania is the one that makes her music special to me.

I didn't really know Mutt before I knew Shania, and I didn't really care about him before I heard he produced some Corrs songs. Of course I had known the songs he did with Bryan Adams and Def Leppard, but I had never been interested in who their producer was! *lol* Now that has changed. I think he's a great singer, songwriter, producer and I hope he's a great husband for Shania! I'm quite sure he is! http://www.shania.net/shaniaforum/biggrin.gif I like him and I'm really happy everytime I see or hear him.

Blonde men rule! And brown haired men also. And brown haired women. Oh, and I forgot the now-black-haired, how could I? *LOL*

I didn't know Mutt before Shania. So when I became a fan of her, I got more information. And now I know as much of him I could find. He's interesting. I think he's sweet, very nice and funny, and a few things more I'm not going to tell I think.
And I also understand very well what you say Carol! So I can say I'm VERRY OBSESSED WITH BOTH SHANIA AND MUTT.

I did not know of him before shania. At first I didn't know she was married LOL.And then my friend told me she was, to a producer im like he must be good looking and around her age.But then i found out about him and found he was older and stuff and I didn't really care about him until I saw her talking ahout how sweet he is and how romantic and I was just like I gotta find out about this guy! so I became kinda obsessed but i'm still more obsessed with shania.

I'd never heard of Mutt before The Woman In Me. I actually wasn't that into music at the time—I just listened to whatever was on the radio and didn't pay attention to who sang it, wrote it, or produced it.

Of course, I love the work Mutt does with Shania, and I like some of his other pop stuff as well. Even though I'm not fond of Britney I like "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know"; "If Walls Could Talk" is one of my favorite songs; and the stuff he did with The Corrs is awesome!

Mutt goes back further than you know, he produced (Just one example, too many to remember or name) a group called the Outlaws. They had limited success and all the successful songs, Mutt had something to do with. Def Leppard owes almost all of their success to Mutt and even waited for him so he could produce their work while he was on other projects. Bryan Adams bigger hits of late were mostly Mutt produced.
He is talented, smart and a good judge of women!

Yeah, I knew who Mutt was, way before Shania...cause I was (and still am) a HUGE Def Leppard and Bryan Adams fan. I think he's a musical genius and he seems to be a very sweet man. I'd love to meet him. Unfortunately, the closest I've got is hanging out with Def Leppard when they came to Bombay....*sigh* ... someday!!!!!
