Nothing in September 2002????

I doubt we'll get a new Shania single or album release in September because of the one year anniversary of 9/11. I bet nothing happens(events/releases) in September. :sad:

MTV brings forward NY award show to respect Sept 11

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The annual MTV music awards will take place in New York for the fourth year in a row, but will come a week earlier in August to avoid clashing with events marking the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center, the music network said Wednesday.


The show, which last year was watched by more than 50 million television viewers, will take place at New York's Radio City Music Hall Aug. 29. Historically, the awards have aired on the first Thursday in September, MTV said.

The announcement came a day after organizers for New York's 2002 fashion week said they were in talks with designers and producers to reschedule this year's event so it would not coincide with commemorations planned in the city around Sept. 11. A decision on a new date is expected this week.

"Our plan is to throw the last big bash of the summer with the Video Music Awards occurring right here in our own backyard," Van Toffler, president of MTV and MTV2 said in a prepared statement.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg welcomed the news.

"As the music capital of the world and MTV's home base, there is no better place on earth to host MTV's annual music awards extravaganza," he said Wednesday.

Hopefully that will mean she will push forward the release date..if august(not to get anyones hopes up) we could have a single in...a month or 2! lol But i doubt thats going to happen..i say october :)hey...that just means 3 months for a single...and i can wait that long :)

Waiting another month or so for Shania's new album is not THAT big of a tragedy.
I just hope she releases a new video as soon as possible. I'm so eager to know how is she looking nowdays.
I mean, I've seen some recent pics, but I want to see her 'in motion' ;)
