Yeah, it showed some skin, but who in our society isn't used to that by now? :uhh:

I don't know that much about Cyndi as a person, but I don't think her outfit was that bad.

I guess compared to "traditional" country it's extreme, but I thought Country music was past that point? I sure hope so! :p

Shania helped knock that door down, which I was very glad to see fall! :p

Vega, with Eja being born almost eight month's ago. I would be willing to bet if Shania rang your door bell right now. She would look as good if not better then before. I don't believe Shania is vein. But , she obviously cares about how she looks. That and the fact that she eats very healthy. Even if she didn't work out and exercise. She would be in shape. All those walks, and horse back riding. She's going to look good weather she wants to or not.
Anyway, if she rings your door bell, you would be as excited as the rest of us and wouldn't care about any of this.

I was just saying that I loved the was she used to look before the pregnancy, and that I hope she manages to go back to that amazing physical shape she was in.

You make it sound as if shania weren't skinny you wouldn't like her cause she was a little chubby. That is so sad. I bet a third of you wouldn't be here if she didn't look the way she did. As I told you guys in my first post, I have first noticed Shania because of her looks. It has nothing to do with her body (well, maybe a little bit...), but I have found her to be simply beautifull.
With that said, a long time has passed since 1998, and I've become a true fan of her music, and now I truly appreciate her as an artist and as a great human-being.
I totally love her deep lyrics and the idea and personal experiences that stand behind them.

So in conclusion, I DO care about how she's looking, BUT, nothing will pervent me from continuing to love and appreciate her music.

Hope I made myself clear here :)

Shaniafanatic - You make a valid point, to be sure. I'm a guy and I have guy friends who only think of Shania in that way and can't believe that I actually am a fan of her music. But I am, since 1997 and I couldn't immagine ever not liking Shania anymore. And yes I also think she's very attractive. What guy doesn't? But I have also come to admire and appreciate Shania for her music, her morals, her integrity, her spunk, her perseverance, her hard work ethic, and the list could go on. I would venture to say that most of the guy members who post on the forums quite alot are NOT just fans of Shania for her looks alone. If thats all you are interested in (as a guy I mean) then there are alot of other websites that you could spend your time on. (if you know what I mean)

Any other comments guys? I think Shaniafanatic has raised a good question.

That really pisses me off, as Shania is SO MUCH MORE than a 'babe' to me.

No, Cyndi's outfit isn't that bad, but if she didn't want to get negative attention for it, maybe she should've worn it somewhere else, not at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, and if I'm not mistaken, it's a conservative city.

I like Shania for several different reasons. There's no possible way I could be this HUGE of a fan and have that based soley on her looks.
I think the quality I admire most about Shania is her personality. I love it! :D
Plus, her songs are THE BEST and they're right up my alley. :p

Well those sort of sweeping, "all Males are the same" sort of posts make me see RED big time. Just as Shania sings from the Female perspective, I think us, so called Red blooded Males need a similar Singing Superstar to wave our flag, 'cause we are in danger of being run over here.

5. Sure good looks sell, they can sell just about anything though, BUT it is only the MTV generation that demand a Video with every single that have made LOOKS so much ??? MORE than it was before. Yes to quote " American Pie" The music has died, long live the POP video... Good video's sell BAD Records!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cry: :uhh: :shocked:

6. Because of the high cost of making a video, new artistes are limited in freedom of choice and often have to sign to a label and loose control, to the "marketing" over there own talent JUST TO PAY for the filming.

7. Yes Guys like a very stylish woman, and the very rare Female that oozes class demands (and gets) respect.

8. SO DO Dolls! and they also like BOYS with the above TALENT!

9. If looks count big time, how come most people find a partner for life... Surely there must be a bunch of "ugly" men and woman out there with no partner, yet that does not seem to be the case?
