Today, Mercury updated the site with this information:
"Excited About Shania's Upcoming Album?
Country Weekly is asking whose new album are you most anticipating? Show your colors at http://www.countryweekly.com"
Well, Mercury, this poll is no longer up. HAHA!!! It would have been helpful if you would have reacted a little sooner and posted this a few days ago.

I know we're joking around here but on the serious side this is pretty pathetic that a record label can't keep better tabs on its biggest money maker. Someone at Mercury is dropping the ball here. :uhh:

I just checked and it's still there. It's on the front page of www.shania-twain.com It's at the very top.

That site is pathetic.:uhh: I really wish they'd put more effort into it. Hopefully they'll redesign it when the new album is released. It's funny how it says "Show your colors" then when you click the link, its a poll about Alison Krauss producing Rebas new album. :funny:

Things should be perfect for her comeback and a bad website is not helpful and only detracts from their star product's image.

I E-mailed Mercury to tell them about the poll and how Shania Fans Worldwide had united to achieve the result. They hoped to link to an archive of that poll. They were pleased with what we had done.

-Vega- What I learned from the other message board I post at is they discounted the extra voting - they only accepted the initial vote from each IPS#.

Final Poll results from CW, provided to Mercury Records....
Thanks for the poll information. I talked to someone from Country Weekly and they deleted the duplicate votes for a final total % listing of:
Shania 42%
Faith 38%
Dixie Chicks 20%
Shania still took the majority of votes!!!! Thanks for your help. We posted the news on Shania-Twain.com.
As for the album, I am awaiting news on it as well.
