If memory serves, somewhere around '98-'99. I happened to come across them on Usenet, and thought they would make nice reading. I also remember Trisha Yearwood saying something similar. She used the word "respect" with regard to Shania, but said she had none for those who try to copy her. I think, with one or two exceptions, other artists always thought more highly of Shania than the Nashville establishment did.
