Which Countries Have You Visited?

Just thought it'd be cool if we all told about the countries we've visited in out lifes, and maybe tell something about them, like which one have you enjoyed the most and such.

Anyway, here's my list:

Romania- 12 times
Switzerland- 2 times (unfortunatelly, it was in 1992 and 1994...)
Austria- 1 time
Germany- 2 times
Italy- 1 time, and only in Venice
Lichtenstein- 1 time
Slovenia- 1 time

I was supposed to go to London this year, but that plan got canceled.

Anyway, the places I liked mostly were Switzerland and Austria, for the breath taking views, and all that nature that surrounds you. It was really a great experience!

Place I'd like to visit moslty is the states, as I just LOVE America!
Hope to get there someday...

Germany: way to many times to count:p
Sweden: 3 times
Norway: 3 times I think, but the last time was the greatest:D:D:D;)
England: 2 times
Spain: 1 time, but I would like to go there again
Italy: 2 times the best holiday ever!
Greece: 1 time

And then I have driven through Austria does that count?:p
One day I would like to go to Australia:)

I believe I enjoyed the London trips the most. The USA trip was very interesting, but coming back the jet-lag is horrendous :(

There are cruise ships that sail across to Stockholm in Sweden and to Tallinn in Estonia

The others were sun holidays.

France - we used to go there every summer when I was younger, I have no idea how many times...
Spain - 2 or 3 times (once on a school trip, that was cool)
Italy - once
Germany - lots of times (don't like it at all though)
Denmark - twice
Finland - once
Norway - twice
Sweden - four times (I LOVE IT)
England - twice
Ireland - once
USA - three times (2x New York, 1x Austin, TX...OMG, it's so cool to be able to say that!! :p I absolutely LOVE the States!)

Austria is coming up I hope...;)

I was like 7 years old and I was on a sun holiday with grandma. It was a resort by the lake (sea)

That's Romania's only locality that's near the sea. You people go on road trips just to get there in summer.

Funy thing is that I can get to the beach in 10 mins, but hey- I don't like the sea! ;)

One day I plan to go to Australia and Ireland. I think those are 2 of the most beautiful countries I've ever seen - in pictures. :) When I went to France, Austria and Germany, we were on a family vacation when I was 13. It was a very awesome expierence for me. I would love to go back someday.

The place I like the most is Singapore, except for the weather, it is like a sauna all year, the people are really friendly. I would like to visit Canada again for a few weeks, just travelling.

And that's it. We might have considered going to the States this summer, but because of more recent terrorist threats and all this precaution and security stuff... that won't be happening.
The place I want to go most is Switzerland, but also Australia and Ireland.

They sure are beautiful spots, we went in November, plenty of snow to make it nice, but still able to drive. We mainly went to visit a friend, who was a student staying in Calgary for six months and she lived with some friends of hers for that time, we suprised her, poor girl, she nearly had a heart attack, it was good though, as the people she stayed with helped us as to where to visit.

We suprised her further, we had booked a ticket to take her to LA for 4 days, and to Disneyland, that was her dream come true.:) :)

USA (L.A., San Francisco and Las Vegas): 1 time
Greece: 1
Turkey: 1 (soon for the 2nd time)
Jugoslawia: 1
Switzerland: a couple of times ;)
France: 2
London: 1
Germany: 1
Hungary: too often to count (it´s just about 1 hour away)
Czech (sp?): the same

Well, I haven't excatly been in Austria, just driven through on our way to Italy:p but this summer when we are going to Italy again:D we are gonna stay one night in Austria but I can't remember where:rolleyes:

:uhh: well we might not fly in spaceships, but we aren't exactly in the stone age either.;) We have some 250 Km of coast around here, so it would be pretty pathetic to have only one locality near the sea. There are more. But you are right, in terms of spending a holiday, it's probably the best known place at the seaside.

Anyway, as for my frequent visits to Romania, it was because I'd visit my grandparetns almost each and every year, so I have mainly been at the same places:
Timisoara, Lugoj and Buchuresti :)
