I lost the interest in Divas Live after the original. Each lineup of artists after the first one keeps getting worse and worse. :sad:

If it comes out on DVD I may buy it for Shakira and Stevie Nicks, but I would'nt wacth it on TV because I would have to sit though the acts I dodn't like, Thats why I love DVD :D

I have all of Shania's performance on VH1's Divas Live on tape.
I think she was trulystunning in that show, and truly stood up above all the others!

Impressions of the last 20 minutes (I just flipped channels and caught the last few minute of the show):

1 Celine sucked - 3 songs - anemic singing/strange camera angles made her look like a stringbean/wooden gestures/pitiful performance - this is a Diva?

2 Cher - just caught her performance of Elvis song dressed as Elvis - stunning and great rendition of Elvis oldie - either Heartbreak Hotel or Jailhouse Rock - was mesmerized by her garb and appearance - what can I say?

3 Dixie Chicks - just saw Elvis song they did - don't recall the song but Natalie had on this open front mini dress and she looked like a stuffed sausage and that is being nice - her legs are very chubby as is her entire body - she looks like Sally Struthers in mid-life - who played Gloria in All In The Family - and has gotten bloated and out of shape terribly. The Chicks sang very well but please Natalie wear a muumuu!!!:shocked:

4 Shakira - saw her Elvis tune - had on also a stunning open front dress showing her belly button and half her breasts - very nice - Raul will salivate - sang very well!

I just watched majority of the show. :)

I didn't expect to see Celine Dion singing an AC/DC song, but I thought they did a good job. Celine has ALWAYS been very thin, so that wasn't anything new. I still think she has a beautiful voice.

This was the first time I ever saw Shakira onstage. I think she did a good job, but like Matt once said, her voice does remind me of a sick donkey. But I like her voice, it's different. :)

Cher did a good job, and she sounded a bit like Elvis when she sang his song. :huh: I was impressed with her Elvis outfit, she's always up for anything. :p

I wasn't impressed with Whitney Houston. I love her voice and I think she was blessed with one of the best voices of all time. However, I think her voice has gone down hill. I wasn't impressed with her last Diva appearance either. It's like she can't hit those beautiful notes that she used to. :smirk:

The Dixie Chicks brought a different kind of sound to the show. . . country. They did a good job performing the song, but it seemed out of place for some reason. :uhh:

WHEN SHANIA COMES BACK I HOPE SHE'LL BE ON THE DIVA SHOW! :up:
