Did anyone watch it? Who did you like the best? What do you think about Latvia, the winner? Any special moments?

I liked these the best:
MALTA
United Kingdom
Spain
France
Switzerland :p
Estonia
Bosnia

I wanted Malta to win, because I really liked that song and the girl seemed very nice and sweet. So I'm pretty upset that Latvia won since it was SO close and I didn't like that song at all anyway...:rolleyes: :(

The funniest moment was when Spain was supposed to tell the results! That woman talked and talked and then she was smiling away until the moderator said: "May I have your results, please?" She was still smiling and looked very distracted until she finally said: "Yes..." LOL! What was she thinking?! :funny: :funny:

Those german people didnīt gave us any points!!! :furious: :furious: :furious: But at least we are on place 18 and Germany on 21! HAHA!!! :p
We havenīt seen the show but weīre sure Manuel Ortega was better than some other singers who got more points! :rolleyes:

I wasn't going to watch it, but there was nothing else on:rolleyes: We lost:furious: :funny: only 5 or 6 points I think:rolleyes: but I liked our song. I too wanted Malta to win that song was the best song of the evening at least in my opinion.

I can't remember the song that won:rolleyes:

The Song Contest was the funniest thing I've seen on TV this year. The Greek guys and the Slowenian "girls" cracked me up:D I didn't like Latvia, that song sounded like everything else. Nothing special.

My favorites were;
1. Croatia (Great voice, nice song, and the girl's beautiful)
2. Estonia (Just a really good performance, and the song's cool)
3. United Kingdom (Love the song and Ms.Garlick's voice)
4. Malta
5. Israel

:)

Switzerland, Austria and Germany's songs sucked! Everyone was making fun of Corinna May, I almost felt bad for her:p

I soooo totally forgot to watch. Oh well, I heard nothing to cheer about the Finnish performance. Never liked that song or performer anyways. I think I was told we were like 20th or something.

Funny, I used to watch the song contest every year. But in the last 5 or 6 years I guess, there really hasnīt been anything interesting. And letting everyone sing in English kinda takes the edge out of it.

never forget that the european contest have 2 sides one is the competition but then come the second part that is the votes and this one is only politic thing ;) well how im ur neighbour im going to vote u and then u will vote me :rolleyes: *re* always is the same and usually one countries give the same points to the others year by year :rolleyes: so don't worry everybody saw this greek and everybody even all this countries that gave them points :rolleyes: know that the greeks were the worst of the festival ;) they deserved have 0 points *lol* but misteriously wasn't the last of the contest :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Just have to say that it was very bad this year,I almost didn't like any songs.But the best ones i think was:

~Estonia(though it was very usual)
~Croatia
~Sweden

What happened to Ireland this year anyway? They werent even in it. Or maybe they just got bored of winning so much? lol

I dont think anyone in the UK really takes Eurovision seriously anyway, even the commentator we have just makes fun of it all which is part of the reason why people here watch it I think, makes it more entertaining. :)

Btw, is it just me or did the two hosts look like they should have been in an ABBA tribute? :funny::D

I read in the papers today that the Finnish performer cried like 15 minutes after the results. She apparantly was hyped to win :shocked: :rolleyes: and ended up 20th :funny: :funny: :] :o

I've no idea what they sounded like because I had the volume turned down, lol. I was just watching it right at the end to see where the UK ended up :)
