Vh1 Driven

Have any of you guys watched the episode of shania when she was on Vh1's driven? And how was it?

Of course we did!
I have it on tape myself :)

Shania's 'Driven' special was very informative and interesting, with many of the people who knew there all the way back from Timmins, through her early 20ies, etc.

The show was very interesting, but I prefer Shania's 'BTM', because she's actually the one who tells the story, and there is a lot more footage of her from her live appearances, rather than just pics of her back from her longshot days and such.

Driver is a great great show! :D There's lot of interesting and cool stuff in it, i love it!! :D

I liked Driven because - like the other Driven episodes - it gives the perspective from before she was famous. It tells the story of "what it takes" to make it, and from the perspective of those who knew her then.

I also like Shania's :angel: Behind The Music because it is NOT filled with drugs, animosity, alcohol etc that is part of the rock and roll scene. And because it has Shania :angel: herself after she's famous.

They are both very good and each has things the other does not have.

In Driven I particularly got a kick out of the description of Eilleen's first return to Canada after going to Nashville ... meeeooowww.

Sorry to tell you this, but VH1 has replaced Driven with History of Rock & Roll on June 2nd :shocked: :down: and hasn't re-scheduled Shania's episode yet! :mad:

Actually, there is hope for you!

There's this 'Driven' tape we're passing around between forum members, and you can ask for it if you like.
All you have to do is to make sure you pass it over to the next member when you're done with it :)

The tape is on NTSC format, and I believe it's still at Cheryl's.

If you can't get a copy of the tape, I am sure VH1 will be repeating it soon, it's just not in their schedule as yet. :)
