Don't know if this thread has been up before,but It would be cool to know why you use the nickname you're using here at the Shania Forums.Does it have a special meaning,maybe you're using your real name.....??

I think you've got it know ;) so here's my explanation.

I've seen all the Bond movies except for the last one:shocked:,but still I've chosen the name Elektra007.That was Sophie Marceau's character in "Tomorrow never dies."Elektra King actually. ;)

And i thought it was a cool name :p

I love the Marines, so when I joined, I used this, never changed it on this board since. Simple and original :D

Stephania is one of my nicknames. It's mix of Steph and Shania. When I first joined the forums, I was Stephania, but I lost my password so I just became Stephania5, since 5 was my fave number at the time.

Eilsel is my name, Leslie, spelled backwards.

Carol has been my nickname for a few years and after Manu told me about the forums, I thought that I had to hurry with joining and couldn't think of another nickname...so stupid. LOL. I also wasn't used to that whole forum thingy back then.

I bet that says nothing to most of you, but Vega was alway my favourite, with Ken Masters at a close second.

When I first joined my name was "Angela6", but I had Matt change it because there were so many "Angela's".

At first it was hard to find a name because all the ones I thought of were allready taken. Then I thought, "Do I have anything unique?"

I've had some people tell me I look similar to Shania, so that's why I picked "Shanialookalike".

I remember when I picked the name I asked Matt, "Do you think they will think I'm conceited?" :uhh: :funny:
Because I didn't want people to get that impression! :p

And I've been "Shanialookalike" ever since. ;)

Well - LOL - My name WAS Blessed 1980, but I had Matt change it to Laura98. Laura was already taken, so I used Blessed 1980 because Blessed is a Martina song and 1980 was the year I was born. The 98 in my name is the year I graduated high school. :p

Hope I didn't confuse any of you w/ the name change. Thanks Matt! :p

My mom gave me the nickname "Little Shania" a few years ago for many reasons. Many people say I resemble her onstage in a way and just in person,I sound a little like her and I have her motions down pat. LOL I am not joking. :p That I am just a "Little Shania" LOL I can't really describe it! :p:funny: So now almost everyone calls me this. :):):)

Okay, this is a topic I must have missed the first time around Annette! I've told this before but here it is again.

Twain Fan 97 comes from the year 1997. It was in the fall of 97 that I first saw a Shania video. The video was LGMET! I saw this beautiful woman rolling around the floor in a red dress and thought, "Who is that?" That was my first time ever hearing about shania. I've been a bigger and bigger fan ever since!
I guess you could say I "Gol darn gone and done it!" I fell in love with Shania & her music. LOL!
