It came out a couple of months ago but I thought I'd post it anyway. Here's the new Canadian $5.

The rest of the series hasn't been issued yet. They're harder to counterfeit and the have lots of security features. They have braille in the corners to for the blind.:)

That's pretty interesting ... I think the US Gov was talking about changing our money color to blue ... anyone remember that ... Bob?

Our 1 and 2 dollar bills were replaced by coins a few years ago.

its a doller bill it says its a un dollerand its from ottawa dates back to 1954 so its very old and i think it has the qween of england on it well it looks like her i dont know i could be wrong i just know its from canada and its old lol:p i collecked dollers and coins from diffrent countrys i love stuff like that:)

I heard the $20 bill is out. But I haven't seen it yet. I love the $5 one. You can guess why. ;)

I love em! But i never HELD the hockey one in my hand! When i get it im keeping it! Cause its so pretty! I LOVE HOCKEY!! because of the leafs i have to watch each game now! TONIGHT THEY R ON! Oh...getting out of topic again! i do that so many times!:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

On the $5 bill it's Sir Wilfrid Laurier (the first French Canadian prime minister and held office from 1896 to 1911. He was born in St. Lin, Quebec on 20 November 1841 and died on 17 February 1919), and on the $10 it is Sir John A. Macdonald
(Canada's first prime minister and held office from 1867 to 1873 and again from 1878 to 1891. He was born on 11 January 1815 in Glasgow, Scotland and died on 6 June 1891.)

here are the rest of the bills. underneath the old 5 and 10 are the new ones and the 2 dolloar bill has been replaced by the toonie, shown above. The 20, 50, 100, and 1000 dollar bills are being redesigned also to match the new series.
