Girls bleed one week of the month. They get cramps, and they get serious stomach pain! some girls get so ill that sometimes they throw up. Girls have to put up with discusting pads/tampons. Girls wake up two hours before they have to get up in the morning, of a really bad stomach pain. Then they have to take some pill(s) and try to get back to sleep, which is hard since those damn pills take too long to work!! so then they get almost no more sleep. Girls notice when they have just LEFT their home for the morning, that they start to bleed. and soon it'll bleed through the jeans. And most girls really really really want chocolate, lots of it!! when their :furious: "friend":furious: arrives. That must be an evil plan to make us eat more unhealthy stuff, so we'll worry more about our weight and how we look.

Guys watch sports.

:p

I must not be like the "average" girl. I don't get cramps, stomach pain's or anything pms related to "that time of month." I'm lucky, my "time" only lasts 3 days, once a month! :funny: I don't worry about my weight ... I'm not bragging either, I guess I was blessed w/ fast metabolism. I do like to look good though. I'm not into pampering or makeup. The only time I wear makeup is if I have a blemish (pimple) and it's really obvious. I like to go natural ... if people don't like the way I look, they don't have to look at me ... ya know?

But that is one of the reasons Why I respect women more than I do men, they have to go though all that while us men have it easy. One woman is more special than a thousand men :)

I don't wacth sports personally as I find them boring ;)

Yep, the sports/period comparison isn't a very good one but I can't think of anything on the male side that compares to a woman's period. :p Besides not all men like sports and not all women dislike sports.

:funny: Never heard of that.
I get a little *****y, and sometimes get cramps. Either none at all, or pretty bad ones. Once I had HORRIBLE cramps in the middle of a geography test and I had to play soccer that day!! You men consider yourself lucky. And the worst thing is when you get it when you're on vacation or something like that. It SUCKS BIG TIME!

Oh, how I love discussions about the menstrual cycle! :funny:

Yeah, the monthly bill isn't something we all look forward to, but it's just part of being a woman. :smirk:

Since we are blessed to be women. . . . I assume it's our payment for having the luxery of being female. :p

I don't have severe cramps very often. . maybe twice a year or so. If you have severe cramps often, take some pain pills BEFORE the cramps begin. (Perhaps you should visit your doctor too, the doctor can give you pills to help with cramps)
Or if you'll be away from your house, take some pain pills before you leave. . . just in case you get cramps. ;)

You ladies all mark your period on the calendar right? :really:
I know it may sound strange, but it's better knowing when you'll start. . . . . then being caught of guard! A normal cycle is 28 days. . many women start early or late. Count your first COMPLETE day as the first day and go from there.

You don't have to write "period" on the calendar or anything. :funny:
I usually write a question mark or an "X" on the day I should start. Now this is only good if your cycle is predictable. That way, if you're going out around that date. . . wear some protection! ;)

When I was choosing my wedding date, I counted the days up until September. . . . . to make sure I wouldn't be on my monthly bill! ;)

Yeah, periods suck. But all in all I'd rather have my period than be a male. (no offense:p)

Most women see their period as a curse.

But the blood is their for a reason, to help cushion the unfertilized egg when it comes out of the body.

So, at least it's for a good reason. :p

yeah, but you see Bob, we get it EVERY month:p

And those poor souls who get so sick that they cant stand up long enough to take a shower because they are shaking so bad from the pain (has only happened to me twice, thats a relief as least) have a good reason to complain A LOT!!

And the mood swings!!! one minute:   the next: YIIHAA!!:D but mostly:  :sad:

And mine's not even completely predictable!:( So then i get a really un-cool surprise, like yesterday, when it happened half an hour before i was going to work  It's sooo cool to have stomach pain when you have to go to school or work
