Of course it is!!!!!!!!! I mean, we're talking about SHANIA here!! The lady that doesn't need big stage shows or lots of dancers on tour, or other ppl to write her songs. This is the singer that (this is difficult to understand) sings EVEN BETTER than she does on the albums when she sings live!
And on top of that, she has a great personality! And she's not fake! She's SHANIA!!!
(okey, i put this in the open cuz i begun writing about avatars and stuff, but now i wonder if it belong in this forum..oh well. lets see what the thread turns out to be in a few replies! It has happened before that threads suddenly are about a whole different topic!)

You know what, my avatar is natalie and my siggy is shakira- does this mean i hate shania now? No. I like to experiment with different things because i get tired of the same old thing. When shania comes back we will have NEW avatars and NEW lyrics for siggys. And im speaking for myself- i get bored of the same old stuff so until she comes back- i'm gonna keep changing them to whoever interests me at the moment. PLUS- ITS FUN!! :D:D:D

I can't believe this. :sad: When i first came here, i thought things like "how can they be soo obsessed bout Shania? I mean, some of them are really OBSESSED!" I'm listening to HER music mostly. A lot of times per day. Right now, in the shower, sometimes when i brush my teeth and put on make-up, sometimes when i come home from school....And if somethings to hard for me to cope with, i can think:"Shania got though all she did, and now she has soo much! Then surely i must be able to do just THIS???" (whatever it is)
I think it's sad that we have to wait until she comes back before ppl bother about her:( She has already sold 57 millions, she had a very successful tour. Ppl should be able to notice her just fine now even though it's been a few years. :( Am I alone here (with listening to Shania, thinking other artists are not so good as Shania, and waiting for her to come back) or what?

I understand where u are coming from and sometimes I feel the same way:) I agree that there is definitely something special about Shania and her music. I will always be a fan no matter what or how long she is out of the spotlight:love: I have been a fan since 99 and I wore all my Shania CDs out because I listened to them non-stop for a long time. Since Shania has been away, I have been passing the time listening to other artists and enjoying different kinds of music. The cool thing I have noticed about Shania fans is that we all have such a wide range of tastes. It's ok for us to share these different tastes and get to know eachother better while Shania is away. Shania will never be a flavor of the moment for me. I will always love and appreciate her music, no matter what my avatar is or what my signature says:) I think that we all feel that way, otherwise none of us would be here:) I am looking forward to her new album and I know u are too:D Get ready she's comin!:D:D

I listened to Shania every day for over two years, I have all her CDs at least twice, her videos on both VHS and DVD and posters of her all over my walls. I am a fan.
But what you have to understand, I let my life revole around Shania and did'nt see what else the world had to offer. Now I have I've found balance, I'm still a Shania fan but as I said I need a new album to get me really excited again, at the moment I'm just excited ;)
Plus everyone is an indivual, and we express our indivualty in different ways, would'nt it be boring if we all had Shania avatars and signitures? ;)

Just because we don't have her on our avatars and siggys doesnt mean we forgot her! OR WE WOULD NOT BE HERE ANYMORe! (as cute silvi said);)
I love shania to death! But I have used like all her lyrics already! And theres other styles of music that I wanna explore- theres nothing wrong with liking other music :) Shania is still number one in our hearts so don't get so soap opery! ;) IT IS OKAY. Really! Shania isn't hurt by this and i'm sure she would understand!

Yes the Open forum has more posts than the 4 Shania-related forums combined but with almost 50,000 combined posts in those forums only about Shania, I would say we haven't forgotten about her. ;)

I'm not soap opery. I think you just didn't understand me. and thats okey. okey, now I've tried. I actually have. I haven't listened to Shania ALL day, and it's already half past two in the afternoon, so i was doing well. But now i can't cope for much longer!! WTH should i listen to?? Now I already have listened to Bryan Adams, Faith Hill, Shakira, the Dixie Chicks, Def leppard, Alice cooper :funny:, Kylie Minogue, the corrs... I'm not in the mood to listen to LeAnn Rimes, Vonda Sheperd or Carlene Carter. I'm gonna give up soon. :p

Thea, I have not given up Shania look at my Siggy it's mostly Shania but no lyrics etc. I do :love: Shania with all my heart. I will never give up Shania. I like other music like most others here do. When Shania comes back things will change. I use to play Shania everyday and soon The Corrs came allong I played them and Shania But there are times I lasted 2 days without her music then I lasted a month. So I do love Shania dearly etc. Otherwise WHAT THE Heck am I doing here if I didn't love Shania?:) Shania will always be my #1 and I do miss her. Don't worry Shania still has her fans:) :love: :angel:

It wasn't an attack on any of you, i just tried to not listen to her music to make it EVEN better when i listen to it again. But since I listen to music all day, it's difficult... how the h--- did you manage a month without her?? I couldn't have done that. Besides, I have to make up for lost time, I didn't really care much about any music before i was about... 13 - 14 or so.
Oh well, I'll listen to what i want, and then you do the same. I was just so shocked when i saw the changes from about 6-9 months and till now.
Wonder if i'll last the day without her music..? :p

20 hours. 20!:D That's pretty good, isn't it? Almost 24 hours. I was doing quite fine till 6:30 pm. when i was gonna take a shower. I always listen to Shania when i shower. so i did:D
Ben: No. I can't live like that. It's not a goal for me either. If i would have had to go through these last 5 months without Shaniamusic... :shocked: My friends would have been soo bored with me, cuz then i would have been even more depressed than i was and i would have had to come running to them with my problems all the time :rolleyes: :funny: :p But Shania-music gets me in a better mood, and reminds me of everything Shania went through to reach her goals. Then things gets easier for me.
