Shaina is going back next january. while waiting, why don't we share with others the first time we ever heard of or saw Shaina and how we come to love her? this waiting has been long and tiresome, but the reminiscence will never fade.

My dad got me into her. He was transferring TWIM CD from a CD to a tape when I was like 5. It was on NONTK and I liked the song. The first CD I ever bought was like the day after that happened my dad and I went and bought me a copy of TWIM.

forgot mine. sadly i haven't been so lucky to meet Shaina in person.( i do envy those who have.) my story is a little complicated. I'd heard good songs like you're still the one, from this moment on, and any man of mine, but i didn't know the singer. and one day i went to my friend's and he was playing his collection and from him i learned it was Shaina. but i was not so into her before i learned what she's been through and how she pulled through in her life. just couldn't help loving her.
I think there was another thread based on this subject, but I can't seem to find it anyway. I remember I was about 4 years old when I first heard Shania My cousin would play her music all the time. The first Shania song I ever heard was "You're Still The One" and I treasure it to this day.
I was having a really hard time my freshman year in high school. I had heard her before, but she wasn't certainly my favorite, nor was her genre. (Weridly enough the first Shania song I ever associated her with was "I'm Gonna Getcha Good" because all my friends liked it. Although I later associated "Man! I feel Like a Woman" because everyone on the planet has heard that song sometime or another)
She really pulled me into her music and into country. Her music helped me so much, it's hard to explain. And then country music became my career. Shania Twain really pulled me out of a hole.

I'm barely professional. I'm mostly a record company intern, who manages to get some small, mostly lame gigs like county fairs But, at least I write my own material.

I've always wanted to know what it would be like to work with a record company
Long nights. A lot of pushing paper unless your a cool producer But very exciting and rewarding work Because no matter how small, you always see a product somewhere

Wooooow! You saw her in Deerhurst?!?! That's amazing!
Haha, my first memory of her is back in high school, we had to dance to her songs, and my teacher had her single on cassette...well I actually stole the tape and took it home with me! I've been hooked on her since! Ha ha!
